This new inner city development has 292 residences, a 200 room hotel, a 14 screen cinema, 315,000 square feet of Class A office space, and
1,000,000 square feet of specialty retail space. The complex covers a six-city block area and includes multi-level underground parking garages.
This site is being completed in phases. Some areas are already open to the public. Final completion is currently set for 2010.
Security By Design Involvement
Design the overall site security plan and systems which include access control, CCTV, intercoms, parking controls, help phones integrated with
video call-up, and a security monitoring station. SBD is preparing specifications, technical drawings and details, and assisting the client with
the competitive bid process.
The security infrastructure for this site will operate over a site data network that ties the entire site together. All of the video will be
IP based. Under consideration is the use of analytics to detect concentrations of people and illegal parking in fire lanes.
